will time(finally) spare
us some distance if i
call you jim?

break
every
mirror

cut
every
sleeve

slit
every
wrist
just
to
stitch
yer
own
name
in
the
severed
seam

stranded
in
the
snow
packed
margins
of
his
final
page

will burlap
and buttons and spooled thread
hinder death?
